JCF-RC1 CERAMIC WALL HANGING FLYING TROUT

Using a glaze on glaze technique developed by Rob, where multiple glazes become the 'palette' and the sculpted bas relief porcelain "trout" the 'canvas', Rob has combined her skills as a painter and ceramic artist to create some ceramic trout thing unique as well as beautiful in these limited series, “Trout”, ceramic, wall hangings.

Glazes include Tenmoko Glaze, White Brushwork, Copper Red (deep red in reduction, turquoise blue in oxidisation). Celadon oxidised, Fish Scale Shino, Glaze on Glaze - Bright yellow, Blue gold and Red as well as underglazes.

High fired at Stoneware temperatures in either oxidisation or reduction.

Highly vitrified they are stong and can be hung inside and outside or attached as a tile.
