Great for the travelling fly fisher. One reel that can be equiped with two different line capacity spools: a super large arbor design 4/6 and the standard large arbor design 7/9 enlarges the line capacity.

The reel is made of the finest grade 6061 aluminum billet stock, precision needle bearings on a chrome alloy spindle for remarkably smooth handling. This very light reel with minimum weight achieves maximum strength.

Super strong spring disc drag system provides superb control. Easy right-left hand change. The reel comes with a free neoprene reel bag. You can purchase the reel with one or both spools or just the #7/9 spool.

This Saltwater large arbor fly reel is equipped with a self-lubricating, powerful disc-drag, which can be adjusted perfectly by the handy drag knob, and has a distinctive clicking sound. The full cage protects it against knocks, and it may be braked by hand. The reel foot is oval-shaped, so that long leaders may be wound around it.
Originally developed for salmon fishing, the JCF RV Fly Reel's robust design is now also widely used by saltwater flyfishermen.
The JCF RV Fy Reel is extremely robust, yet thanks to additional bearings and the use of the most modern production materials, it is a lightweight fly reel!
