This makes an overseas trip affordable and at the same time you get to meet other fly fishers. I work with local guides. Numbers from 2-4 in the group.

JURASSIC LAKE - PATAGONIA

The ultimate rainbow fishing destination in the world. This could easily be the site of the next world-record Rainbow Trout.

JURASSIC LAKE, is a 65 square kilometer crystal clear lake, with incredible biological characteristics and conditions that allow amazing growth of trout, famous worldwide as probably, the best wild rainbow trout fishery in the world.
This incredible place offers not only extraordinary fishing at Jurassic Lake, but also fantastic action at the amazing Barrancoso River, the only tributary of the big lake, with more than 8 km. running inside the Estancia, as well as the challenging and great fishing at 15 smaller lakes located inside the ranch, in the middle of the breathtaking part of Patagonia's “meseta”.
Rainbows averaging around 10 lbs (It is impossible to find an average!) these totally wild and unbelievably powerful fish are enough to make regular trout fishing tackle become excess luggage. These are not your average size rainbow, or the average daily number caught, and most certainly not your average fight. Jurassic Lake is a place where you can experience the sort of fishing that until now was either a dream or a memory of our ancestors.

SUGGESTED TRIP DATES MAR/APR 2011

March/April are supposed to be the months with less wind (which is always strong in southern Patagonia), and also the fishing at the river, since it has less water is more technical, as well as fishing in lake with less wind makes it possible to sight fish a lot.

Trips for 4-6 anglers with 2 rods per guide.

NEW ZEALAND - Owen River Lodge

From November I am organizing trips to Owen River Lodge for small groups 4-6 Anglers.

Guiding is with local guides, 2 anglers per guide. Llocated in the Murchison / Nelson Lakes region, the Owen River Lodge, is a small lodge with a big reputation.

In October 2005 the lodge was awarded a Qualmark rating of 5 stars.

Exceptional - among the best available in New Zealand.

Fantastic dry fly and nymph fishing mostly for Brown trout.

Fish the Tongariro River this winter.
Join me to fish the Tongariro River, plus other rivers around the area.
We are located close to Turangi the Trout capital of the North Island.
