Lake-Craft Field Trips

Once you have mastered the basics, we get out into the great outdoors and put theory to practice. Still water fishing is a good place to start and NSW has many water impoundments suitable for fly fishing; several only a day trip from Sydney and open all year. Large expanses of water can be intimidating but I teach you those special techniques that increase your chances of locating and catching fish in these waters. Basic equipment is provided. (Available as a day trip or a weekend or mid week course with accommodation and meals). P.O.A.

Stream-Craft Field Trips

This is the fascinating part of fly fishing. Learn the basics of fishing moving water; how to read rivers and find fish; safety aspects of moving water and wading; sight fishing and the joys of dry and wet fly. Streams can be anything from tiny creeks to great rivers in full flow after rain. Due to the nature of Australian weather some streams and rivers can be drought effected while others such as tailrace streams below dams never dry up. Whatever the conditions, there's always a river somewhere to fish. Basic equipment provided. (A weekend or mid week course with accommodation and meals). P.O.A.

Intermediate Fly Fishing

You have been fly fishing a few years but want to learn more. Lets discuss the type of fishing you want to explore and I can put a program together to suit your needs.
I run regular trips to the Central Tablelands, Tumut area, Southern Highlands and New England.
(A weekend or mid week course with accommodation and meals). P.O.A.
