Learn FLY FISHING - OBERON MATES WEEKEND

Get a group together and pick your weekend (or mid week) and learn to fly fish.( Stay 2 nights.)

We stay on a beautiful 1,000 acre working farm. The accommodation is in newly renovated train carriages. These cabins have been beautifully converted into 4 berth units. They are air-conditioned and have a full kitchen, lounge living area. with DVD and TV. The sleeping is in 4 berth bunk rooms, all linen is supplied including towels. Each unit is self contained and has a shower and toilet.
Carriages have a large a covered outdoor verandah with BBQ’s and seating, with great views over the countryside.

You will learn all about Fly fishing rods, reels and lines and other equipment. Learn to cast a fly rod with the basic overhead cast and roll cast. We will be fishing on the property which has frontage to Oberon Dam. You will learn about what trout eat and what fly to use plus other useful lake craft skills.

All basic fly fishing equipment is provided plus a full set of course notes. All meals and drinks are BYO.

Cost 4 berth cabin $450pp. min 4 persons. Maximum number 12 persons.

Enjoy a relaxing few days in the beautiful Central Tablelands and learn to fly fish. We stay for 2 nights in a comfortable fishing lodge with your own room. This weekend is for beginners and fly fishers with basic skills, but don’t worry it’s the perfect location so come along and meet some other fly fishers and a have a fun weekend learning some new skills.

Full accommodation all linen included, an open fire if it does get cold at night. Meet at the lodge on the Friday and depart mid afternoon on the Sunday.

Meals include 2 brunches, 2 afternoon teas and 2 dinners. BYO alcohol. All equipment supplied including waders. You also receive a set of course notes This trip is limited to 6 persons only. Cost $800 pp/ Couples $1300

Stunning river valley views together with exqusite furnishings and décor create an opulent and peaceful haven. Cottages overlooking the stream with your own room.

This TRIP is for beginners and fly fishers with basic skills, but don’t worry it’s the perfect location so come along and meet some other fly fishers and a have a fun weekend learning some new skills.
