John Coles' Fly Fishing School RESIDENTIAL WORKSHOPS

Enjoy a relaxing few days in the beautiful Central Tablelands and learn to fly fish. We stay for 2 nights in a comfortable fishing lodge with your own room. This weekend is for beginners and fly fishers with basic skills, but don’t worry it’s the perfect location so come along and meet some other fly fishers and a have a fun weekend learning some new skills.

Full accommodation all linen included, electric blankets and open fire if it does get cold at night. Meet at the lodge on the Friday and depart mid afternoon on the Sunday.

Meals include 2 brunches, 2 afternoon teas and 2 dinners. BYO alcohol. All equipment supplied including waders. You also receive a set of course notes This trip is limited to 6 persons only. Cost $750 pp

LEARN TO FLY FISH AT WEE JASPER 3rd & 4th APRIL 2010

Meet other fly fishers and a have a fun weekend learning the skill of fly fishing.
There are two day courses, you can combine both or just do one day. Please note to do the Stream craft day you need the basic casting skills or have compleated the Full Day Introduction on the Saturday.

Saturday 3rd April: Full Day Introduction to Fly Fishing.
Meeting place Sarah's Playground, Billy Grace Reserve. Starts 9am- 4pm
Cost of Course $150pp ( max 10 persons) If you combine both courses the cost is $280pp

You will learn:

• all about the equipment- rods reels and lines
• how to tie those important knots and how to rig your fly line and leader!!
• the art of casting a fly, learn the overhead cast, the roll cast and safety casting

Sunday 4th April: Full Day Stream Craft Course
Meeting place Sarah's Playground, Billy Grace Reserve. Starts 9am- 4pm
Cost of Course $150pp ( max 10 persons) If you combine both courses the cost is $280pp

This will improve your chances of catching fish. You will learn:

• about trout habitat, where they live and what they eat.
• a better understanding of fly selection and how to present the fly and where

I can provide equipment including waders. You also receive a set of course notes.

PLEASE NOTE: Contact John to reserve your place. Full payment required 30 days prior to weekend. All equipment is supplied on a replace if lost or broken basis. You will need to bring your own drinks and picnic lunch. A broad brimmed hat and some form of eye protection are needed, I can supply safety glasses. Also bring a chair.

Arrive on the 2nd April and settle into camp. You can either camp or choose from a range of accommodation, Camping equipment and food all on a BYO basis.
